At Youth Unlocked, we believe every young person deserves access to education and meaningful  work no matter their past or present challenges. 
Our education & Career programming helps youth aged 13-29 overcome systemic barriers and build real pathways to long-term success.

Education

Academic Support & Alternative Learning

Career Readiness & Employment Pathways

We help youth re-engage with education in a way that makes sense for them whether they're returning to school, finishing their diploma, or exploring new learning options.

We offer:

  • One-on-one academic support and tutoring

  • School re-entry planning and advocacy

  • GED & OSSLT prep

  • Alternative learning pathways (e.g. online, adult ed, skills- based learning)

  • Post-secondary guidance (applications, OSAP, scholarships)

We help support youth who want to work and just need the opportunity and support to succeed. We help build job-readiness skills, confidence, and access to inclusive employers.

We support youth with:

  • Resume and cover letter writing

  • Job search and interview coaching

  • Workplace communication and conflict navigation

  • Access to training certifications (WHIMIS, Safe Food, First Aid, etc.)

  • Paid internship, training, and job placement referrals

  • Entrepreneurship workshops for youth with hustle and vision

Outcomes We Work Toward:

  • School re-entry or graduation

  • Enrolment in post-secondary or trades

  • Paid work or internships

  • Long-term career planning rooted in youth interests, culture, and lived experience
