Gun Violence Prevention: A Call To Action For Our Community
This three-month youth empowerment program in Toronto’s Regent Park tackled the root causes of gun violence among racialized youth. It provided leadership development, conflict resolution, CPR and First Aid certification, grief and mental health support, advocacy training, and guidance to community resources.
